Streamline data sharing between front and back office – Accounting Integration with ACT! 2011 #SageACT!

by on ‎08-09-2010 10:22 AM (1,995 Views)

Did you know Sage ACT! 2011 integrates with more than 15 Sage accounting solutions worldwide, and with third party accounting applications such as QuickBooks? Well, now you do!  Sage ACT! 2011 integrates with Sage Peachtree, Sage Simply Accounting, Sage BusinessWorks, Sage 50 Accounts, and Classic Line, just to name a few.

Businesses may experience unnecessary overhead and inefficiencies, and customer service problems. Some of the unnecessary overhead and inefficiencies are rekeying and revalidating information from one system to the next, and no consolidation of information due to separate customer data sets living in different systems. One example of a common customer service problem is the sales person is not able to provide immediate order or shipment status when one of their customers calls them due to the lack of visibility into all information and history relating to the customer.

By integrating Sage ACT! 2011 with your accounting application, you’ll be able to access customers’ account or financial information and history from within Sage ACT!, such as credit information, current balance, last invoice and payment, open sales orders, and much more. You’ll also be able to provide better customer service through prompt order and shipment status since you’re able to access these information in real-time from Sage ACT!. Last but not least, by integrating Sage ACT! 2011 with your accounting application, you’ll have data consistency between the two applications, and eliminate duplicate data entry to save time every day.

For anyone using QuickBooks and ACT! I highly recommend the QBSalesData link from Effective Solutions.

Great question, Keith. With Sage's current focus of ACT! integration with accounting solutions provided by Sage, we do not have a Sage product that integrates ACT! with Microsoft Dynamics GP (unfortunately) due to its lower market demand compared to other solutions.

I would encourage you to reach out to your trusted ACT! Certified Consultant to explore options you may have.
