Sage E-marketing for ACT! now available for older versions of ACT!

by pbuckley on ‎02-15-2011 07:51 AM (1,572 Views)

Last month Sage released a downloadable plugin version of the interface to Sage E-marketing for ACT!, an on-demand E-marketing service powered by SwiftpageTM. This new plugin supports the following older versions of ACT!:

  • ACT! by Sage 2007 (version 9.x)
  • ACT! by Sage 2008 (version 10.x)
  • ACT! by Sage 2009 (version 11.x)

If you have one of these versions, you can download the plugin and sign up for a 60-day FREE trial of Sage E-marketing for ACT!.  This gives you 2 months to try the service that lets you create, send, and track email messages from right inside of ACT!. Sage E-marketing for ACT! supports survey forms, landing pages, and drip campaigns, allowing you to design powerful interactions with your customers.

Send newsletters, promotions, or surveys; signup new customers via your website and have them automatically added to ACT!; build a content library online with your own custom emails, images, documents, and landing pages.  It's all easy to do and gives you efficient and powerful ways to interact with your ACT! contacts!

Try it out today!  I'd love to hear what you think!

Is this any different from SwiftPage, which has always been available?

Sage E-marketing for ACT!, and other Sage E-marketing service offerings, are powered by Swiftpage.  Sage and Swiftpage have a broad-reaching agreement regarding the distribution of such services.  Swiftpage no longer offers their service to the markets in which Sage distributes E-marketing services branded as Sage E-marketing.  That is, Swiftpage and Sage do not compete or offer similar services in markets that Sage offers Sage E-marketing.

If you have more questions regarding the business agreement between Sage and Swiftpage feel free to contact me directly.  Thanks for the comment!

Ahhhh ... That explains what's changed.

Thanks for the update, Paul

As I support people globally, any chance you might add which countries Sage don't market eMarketing? I thought it's that way everywhere Sage ACT! 2011 is sold?

Mike,

Good question.  It's pretty much everywhere ACT! 2010 and higher are sold. Sage France and Sage Germany launched connected services this month in their respective countries with Sage ACT! 2011, and now North America has launched Sage E-marketing for ACT! for ACT! v9 - v11.  If there's ever a question check with the local Sage operating company or with the global CRM team.

Sincerely,

Paul Buckley

Paul,

Is there a list of countries where ACT! is sold? Sage Australia told me last week that Sage Asia no-longer sell ACT!

Mike,

Shoot me an email and I can provide you a list of Asian ACC's that purchase ACT! directly from North America, if that's what you're asking.  I do not have a master list of global operating countries and ACT! however and I don't think one exists.

Thanks.
