Looking Up Contacts From An Activity

When you schedule activities with multiple contacts and view those appointments on the Sage ACT! calendar, you’re able to see that the activity is scheduled with multiple contacts, but not necessarily every contact. If you need to reschedule the meeting or send an agenda to all participants via e-mail, you’ll probably want to quickly look them up. This week’s tip shows you how!

Look up Contacts from an Activity:

From any Calendar view, you can hover over an activity and view an abbreviated list of contacts associated with that activity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. To perform a lookup of all contacts associated with the activity, right click the activity and select Create Lookup



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE: With the activity selected, you may also select the Create Lookup button  on the Calendar View toolbar to lookup contacts the activity is scheduled with.

 

2. The contacts are displayed in the Contact List:

 

 

 

3. To e-mail the contacts, first select them by clicking the Tag All button on the Contact List toolbar.

 

4. Click the Write menu, and then choose E-mail message and compose your message in your e-mail program!

 

TIP:   With multiple contacts selected, you may also right-click any of them to perform other actions such as scheduling another follow up meeting, call or to-do among other tasks!
