Last week you learned how to get Sage E-marketing for ACT! connected to your favorite social media networks so that you would be able to post the subject line and a link to an e-mail blast to your social networks. This week you’ll learn just how simple it is to share your message!
Sharing E-marketing Messages with Social Network Connections
There are two ways that your E-marketing message may be shared on Social Networks:
The subject line and a link to the original message may be posted to your social media account page(s).
Recipients may re-share the subject line and a link to the original message on their social media account page(s).
This week I’ll focus on the first method. After you have configured social media site integration in your Sage E-marketing for ACT! account, you’ll be able to select one or more social media sites to share the message on the next time you create an E-marketing blast.
Sharing a Message on Your Social Media Account Page(s):
1. From within Sage ACT!, click Write > Sage E-marketing for ACT! > E-mail Marketing.
2. Select a contact, group, or company, e-mail template, and type a subject for the message.
3. Click Send Now.
4. In the dialog box, select from the following options:
If you would like to post the Subject of your message and a hyperlink to the actual template to any of your connected Social Networks, select one or more checkboxes, and click Continue.
If you do not want to post message information to any of these sites, click Skip.
To connect or disconnect your Sage E-marketing for ACT! account from any of the listed Social Networks, click Manage.
To cancel and return to the Sage E-marketing for ACT! window, click Cancel.
If you have selected to post your message to one or more social media networks, the post will appear within a few minutes:
