This tip will show you how to export the exact data you would like to review, print or analyze in Microsoft Excel!

Exporting List Data to Excel

1. Before you export data, set up your data list with the appropriate columns by selecting the Options button, and then clicking Customize Columns.

2. Add/remove columns to the list view. This is important because only data displayed will be exported.

3. After your list is set, click the Export Current List to Excel button, or alternatively, click Tools > Export to Excel…

4. Data will be exported to Excel. Now it's ready for you to share, print, or analyze!

Hi all,

I am a newbie to Act... Is it possible to setup and use Act as a contact database which stores all sales of a company and then create sales analysis reports such as day figures month on month sales and year to date sales...
