Words are important, especially in sales. Below are seven words to use that will help close the sale (which we all want to do!)
(1)Word to use: Simple
Why: If you can make life less complex for someone, they'll be more interested in what you have to offer.
Why: We like to know that what what we are investing in is simple to use & learn.
(2) Word to use:Now
Why:We like instant gratification. Create a sense of urgency by making the product or service you sell readily available.
(3) Word to use: Save
Why: Price shopping is becoming more common. Reinforce to the prospect that they will save money, trouble and time making the purchase through you.
(4) Word to use: Guaranteed
Why: People desire certainty and prefer not to take risks. As soon as you offer a guarantee, that risk is eliminated.
(5) Word to use: Benefit
Why: If you are able to articulate to the prospect how your product or service will improve their business, life or experience in some way, it's a no brainer.
(6) Word to use: New
Why: If your product is brand new, let them know because it's going to make the product more attractive. People love to have the latest & greatest.
(7) Word to use: Investment
Why: Everyone wants to know the cost so it's very important on how you position it. Instead of saying, " The price is _________ , position it by saying, "You will be investing _________ today."
Selling is about understanding the customer's needs, empathizing with them about their concerns while solving their problems with a product or service you sell. In sales, communication is key & using the right words is important.
