In Contact list view, right click a Contact and a dialog box comes up offering to delete the Contact, cancel, or DELETE the LOOKUP.
Seriously dangerous option right there. The lookup could be hundreds. And it is completely unintuitive to select one contact and expect to have an option to delete the entire lookup.
I've wondered why this has lingered for years, then looked in the mirror and realized I had never mentioned it either. Well here it is.
I totally agree. Very bad UX. It's been like that for years, and through three different Act company owners. In fact, just the other day, I lost a week's worth of work because I was moving fast, and just happened to click the wrong button. Plus there is no feature to recover the data within x number of days, or even in the same session. I would love to have that be a little bit harder to accomplish. Like by keeping it in a separate selection function. Most of the time, I want to delete just one contact, but constantly run the risk of deleting hundreds.
