I'd like to see a tab on the bottom of the layout that would search windows folders dynamically based on contact information. From what I can find Act! currently ties individual linked files only manually. In our case we store pdf and excel versions of orders and supporting documents in one main folder with a few subfolders to break them out by date and type. It would be awesome if based on the company name we could search these folders and display the results in the tab. the Folder specified would be the same for every contact. Ideally it would work and function just like a windows folder with the search key already propagated, but with the ability to modify it. I have read descriptions of add-on's till my eyes bled. I also looked through the dev site and didn't see where anyone has programmed anything like this. I'd probably pay to have it done if it's not to crazy expensive.
