Enable user control over Type pulldown in contact History. Current default is "Appointment" which we NEVER use. This was a new "feature" enhancement with Sage ACT! Premium 2011 Version 13.0.401.0, Hot Fix 2
The Appointment history type was added in ACT! 2011 in order to work with the new Outlook sync feature. Since the default sort for the history type dropdown is alphabetical, "Appoinment" now shows at the top, whereas it used to be "Call". A number of users have commented on this, so one of our add-on partners developed a simple, free add-on to put "Call" at the top of the list again. This does not give the user full control over the default, but for those users who want "Call" back at the top of the list, here is a link to add-on:

Hurray! I downloaded and installed this fix in a jiffy and it works just perfectly. Thanks for the tip! BTW, it installs on the individual workstations.
It would need to be installed on each individual machine.
