It would be really useful to be able to link together Custom Activity Types with their own System Generated Field.
In the same way that Clearing a Call or Meeting or writing a Letter or Email auto populate a field, it would be good to have the ability to create your own for use with user defined Activity Types and their associated results.
Impact Suite has some of those functions you are looking for.
1) Install Impact Sutie for ACT!
2) Restart ACT, go to the TOOLS menu and select IMPACT
3) Click on the ACTIVITIES tab
4) Now in the upper right corner select your fields to update in the contact record when activities are complted are added.
These fields need to be crated as custom fields in the contact table. The Last results field needs to be character.
