Actually, the functionality of any custom activity is rather limited. I have one that is Support call, which means to me BILL ME. But, I cannot put it in the the Big Button or small icon toolbar. AND, if I make it a choice on the top menu, when open another database, the setting for that shortcut disappears when I return to the master DB.

 

Creating a custom activitiy with a custom icon is a great ACT feature, but not being able to treat the custom activity like default activity is a concern.

 

Though i would expect that if user preferences were database specific rather than ACT User specific that might alleviate this issue somewhat.
