For me, the biggest problem with any mobile application is typing in data in the mobile user interface. I
believe there are some simple things that could be done in Act! Premium Mobile to improve the user experience.
1. Rearrange the log-on screen. Screen sizes vary, but on an iPhone 4S the log-on button is invisible unless
you scroll down. However the "Remember my user name" button is visible, and appears somewhat illogically below
the Password field. Since I'm only ever likely to need the "Remember my User Name" button once in a lifetime,
but need the "Log On" button every single time I use the application, can I suggest that the positions of
these two buttons is reversed so the Log On button is always visible and easily accessible.
2.Automatically capitalise names in the Contact field. As you type in the name of a new contact, the
first letter of the first name is automatically capitalised, but subsequent names are not. Why would they not
all be capitalised? Saves another two clicks to enter the name. Same goes for the Company name and Address
3. Post Code to be automatically capitalised. Last time I looked there were no lower case letters in a UK post
codes, so automatically capitalise them! Saves another four clicks.
4. Automatically complete the web address from the email address. There's a 98% chance that a business web
address is the same as the domain in the email address, so why not just pre-populate the web field after you
fill in the email address? Exceptions would be made for personal gmail / hotmail addresses.
