I apologize in advance if some of my suggestions are redundant, or if there are already work-arounds or ways of implementing my suggestions on an individual, custom basis at present -- I have not had time to go through all of the suggested changes & improvements here yet.
I currently use Outlook 2003 simultaneously with ACT! For Real Estate v12. I would like to eventually be able to discontinue needing to use Outlook entirely and rely completely on ACT! For Real Estate, but the full Outlook functionality is not there yet.
I would like to see the following changes / additions / improvements made within ACT! For Real Estate (and possibly, in ACT! in general, if others think they're useful).
CONTACTS panel - 'DETAIL' View (SUGGESTION #6):
Outlook allows you to enter and save a CONTACT PICTURE or CONTACT IMAGE for each Contact.
This is great, because it allows me to further personalize my Contact Information for that Contact.
Furthermore, being that I use a Windows Mobile-based Smart Phone and routinely synchronize and copy my Outlook contacts on my desktop down to my Smart Phone, when a Contact calls me, the image of that Contact is displayed on my phone as well.
It’s also a cool feature because the image does not ‘have to’ be a photograph of that person; it could just as easily be a scanned image of that person’s business card, with all of their information being visually displayed at a glance.
I would like to see the following changes / additions made:
Add the capability to the CONTACT panel – ‘DETAIL’ View to upload and display an image-file for the Contact, e.g match Outlook’s existing functionality.
