This is one of the things that really hurts my tiny brain everytime I am asked to design a report for a client in Excel using the OLEDB or a Dashboard. ACT! only stores the Details data in RTF format. I always have a complete nightmare via VBA and usually land up having to create a VSTO project just because of this otherwise you are having to delve into the darky mirely depths of Regex *shudder*!
It would be great if the schema held the formated RTF data as well as the same data but in simple text format for the sake of reporting. I appreciate that this a request for a schema change and so is a big deal, but I live in dread and fear of client's asking for Details in their reports/Dashboards!
