I posted this to the ACT! Product forum initially and was directed to re-post it here so you could evaluate its feasibility.
We are a membership association. We use ACT! 2013 as the primary data source for our member's information. We run a nightly synchronisation with our website so that our member's details are always current on-line.
We have to do this manually which is open to errors or just being fogotten as staff turn over. I think it would be advantageous to have a feature (like a smart task or scheduled task) which allows us to setup an automatic export to csv (.txt) or any format we choose using a specific group, field mapping, destination folder, and (optional) file naming convension.
