Allow Activity Series to either set a "Time of Day" or PROMPT for a specific Time when Run!My life revolves around meetings!I have created a field called "Next Review Date" calendar field on the Contact ScreenI set the field to trigger an activity series when I change the Date of the "Next Review Date" for my clientI get prompted to pick the Anchor Date on the activity and I set it to the Next Review Date, which could be 6 months down the road.- 2 new Activities get created in the calendar.A - It schedules a Call for my assistant to call the client to confirm the meeting 2 days priorB - It schedules the Meeting in MY Calendar for the Contact on the specified DateThe PROBLEM -
I can't specify a time for my Meeting Activity - it defaults to TIMELESS which is USELESS! I have togo in to the Calendar and edit Both Activities manually every time.No one books a meeting with someone WITHOUT a scheduled time???I want to default ALL my assistants 'Calls' to 8:30 AM on the day they are scheduledI want to be prompted for my Meeting and pick the exact "Time of day" on my calendarSolution:
Allow users to pick a "Time of Day" for the Activity ANDPut a check box on the screen to say - "PROMPT USER" when the Activity is triggered to allow changesWhen you check the box off, it prompts the User scheduling and allows them to edit the Activity during the process.Set the Activity Window identical to scheduling a Meeting, Appointment, or Call, and allow the user to specify an exact "Time of Day" makes the Activity series worth while now. Then we wouldn't have to go back into both Tasks every time and change the time from Timeless (useless) to an actual Time of Day!Hope you will consider this suggestion!Cheers
I'm having the same issue and it's a pain having to go back in to change all the times to my desired time. Has there been a fix in v.18? If not, please consider fixing this. It makes no sense to schedule activity series but not have the option to choose a time of day for those events.
