I would like to see a list of reported product defects/problems that will be resolved in a future upgrade. It sure would be nice to know that someone is working on fixing reported issues & not just giving us another workaround.
If such a list already exists, where can I find it?
Sadly, software companies never make this kind of stuff publicly available ... also sadly, they know that adding little functions that no-one wants or will use produce better press releases than actually fixing parts of the product that would benefit most of their user base.

Mike,
While I can, perhaps, understand not having a list publicly available, it sure would be nice to know to know that a reported problem is being addressed. Unfortunately, I agree with your other comments...flashy function vs. customer need & want.
I think a lot of companies nowadays are going the way of Toyota -- who grew big & sloppy and lost sight of product quality and their customers. I wish companies would return to their roots & look at what made them successful & continue it...
Ah well...guess we can't change the world.
