We should be able to change the port of POP and SMTP in internet mail setup.
In 2012 , almost every mail server use other ports that 110 and 25 !
And also a SSL/TLS connection security sould be available.
That make no sense to have no settings at all.
It is possible to change the posts like this:
But doesn't work with SSL/TLS ...

Wow, almost 6 years later, and the most up-to-date version of Act! (current v20) STILL has this problem with their e-mail client.
For me, as with many other people, Outlook is not an option for various reasons. Thunderbird, Lotus Notes, and a number of other e-mail programs would be acceptable.... OR, Swiftpage should realize that this problem continues to exist, and needs to be addressed. The whole world is not Outlook-based.
It's now the end of 2017.... and a lot of the solutions I have seen in this and other discussion threads point to tools that are 5-15 years old, most no longer available or supported.
I am looking into PortTunnel now, but even that is pretty old. What's the recommended CURRENT solution? (Windows 7, BTW).
