I believe Sage looked at it, but the change required a major re-write to parts of the code, which can only be accommodated in a new version ... ie ACT! 2011.

Hello LeonC,

Just to verify what Mike stated, there are no plans for an update to ACT! 2010 or prior to support Office 2010 integration. Please see Larry Ritter's blog regarding this topic for additional information.

LeonC,

Here is a link to a website that sells great ACT! addons: http://actaddons.eu/

They sell an addon that will connect ACT! 2010 to Outlook 2010 E-mail.  I think It's better and more reliable than the native email connector.  One developer wrote this pretty quickly.  I've used their products and they're solid.

Remember, this is only for Outlook.  They also sell a Word Connector, but I don't think they offer an Excel connector.

Yes it costs $69.  But it doesn't require you to upgrade ACT! for every user at the same time.

They also have a Professioonal Connector for $99 that does quite a bit more.

I am in no way associated with actaddons.eu and do not receive any commission or re-imbursement for recommending their products.
