Status: Available in Act! v19
by steverinsler on ‎09-12-2011 09:07 AM

I have just installed v12. Great it supports a 64 bit environment, but it still does not suport 64bit office; why not? v12 seems to be very little increaswe in functionality and 64 bit office has been around quite a time. So when will Sage get there??

Status: Available in Act! v19

With the release of Act! v19 comes many Microsoft Office Compatibility Improvements, including native support for 64-bit variants of Microsoft Office 2010, 2013 and 2016 for Windows.

Just as a point of interest ... there are still several Microsoft products that don't support Office x64 and most CRM products still don't. Even Microsoft advise using Office in x32 mode unless using spreadsheets larger than 2-3 GB

Looking through Share Ideas and other areas, and I see 2011 and 2012 comments on Office 64 bit.  Fast Forward to 2015:  ANY possibility v18 will be compatible with 64 bit Office?

Please?  Pretty Please?
