I think there is a market for a product that offers the functionality of "Record Email to History" for ACT users - but for folks who do not use ACT.
The idea is that not everyone in an organisation is an ACT user - but it is helpful in Sales / Marketing to see all the email (from accounts, operations, shipping etc.) that have gone out to customers & prospects in the ACT database. This way a better picture of the relationship between the organisation and it's customers is in the ACT database.
Chances are these non-ACT users will need to be in the Define User part of ACT in order to have a User Name attached to the email history. So, likely this will entail a new type of user access to be defined, like "Email Only". These users would not have ACT installed on their computer - but the new product that would just capture their Email History
A chance for increased revenue for Swiftpage, a differentiator for those of us selling ACT and a better product for the end-user!
