Act Pro 2012 does not allow for a "one way" sync option--- the default is automatic two way sync (calendars & contacts) between Outlook and Act. I need a "one way" sync option in order to protect my Act database from inadvertant (erroneous) changes in Outlook. I have begun to experiment with Apple's iCLOUD sync system (uses WIFI) between my Outlook and iPHONE. I don't like the idea that an error in Outlook or iCloud could feed back to my Act database. This should be a simple fix. Companion Link, which I now use to sync Act with Outlook, does allow me to set sync to one way...from Act to Outlook.
