If you use the Premium version of ACT!, you can use the one database set the contacts so that only the users who should see each contact can see the contact.

 

This would be a much better way of achieving this need

This is good to know. Didn't know you couldn't have more than one database open at a time when ACT! for Financial Professionals v11 was purchased.  Also, didn't know that this was going to be a future need.

 

It would be nice to have this feature without the need to pay for an upgrade and the hassle of performing all aspects of the upgrade process for each person who needs this ability within a corporate environment.

Question.

 

Is the assistant the only one who needs ACT! Premium? Or is the database converted to ACT! Premium therefore requiring both brokers to have ACT! Premium as well?

All users sharing the database need to be on the same version
