One area that Act is severely behind in compared to other CRMs like Sugar is business process automation. Smart Tasks are nice, but they need more robust triggering options and other actions to be useful to larger organizations.
It would be nice to have a smart task trigger when I field changes values. In particular a field like record manager.
It also would be nice to have "Record manager" be a sort of variable option for sending reminder e-mails, otherwise I have to create smart tasks for each users.
So a sample smart task would be "Trigger when condition 'Record Manager changes values', send e-mail to 'Record Creator'" so we could notify a user that they have a new lead in the system to schedule a follow up with.
