Or add a Pop-up warning "Your are changing your My Record name.  This will cause all Notes/Histories/Activities/Opportunities etc in this users name to be changed to this new user name.  Are you sure you want to change this "My Record" contact name?

If you would like instead to create a new Contact record, pull down the Contact menu and select New Contact."


I agree with JDean's suggestion, this ACT weakness hits almost every ACT installation at least once, in spite of continuous User Training.
