Provide the ability to give names to a specific sequence of fields displayed in a List View. The "Default" layout would be like the present List View displays, however, when Customizing Columns, you could let the user give a name to that display.

This is huge feature requests for heavy excel users. The reason this is so popular I think is because of the issues we sometimes have with the preference files that go awry.
Act users want the ability to save "different views" such as they see with other CRM systems. the current Act view when you start adding all your default fields and custom fields can really grow and you can't see everything you are trying to sort. For Act users with really large contact databases 20K or more it's just ridiculously time consuming and inefficient.
