Over the years I have written many, many letters and email templates that are useable for any database that I work with so why can't I just open them up and see them ALL across the board?
You can use the Alt, L, C, Name [as you can tell I'm into FAST find] which remains from the previous look up even though you changes the database!

Good point. A way around it is to copy the files you've created into the database files folders of the other databases you need to use them in however if you have created custom fields in one database those same fields need to also be part of your other databases in order for your templates and sometimes that's glitchy too!
Thanks for the reply but the idea is not to have duplicate files anywhere. And if you make a modification to a template and want to use it in another DB you'll have to copy it there as well.
Sorry.
