Hello, I am a on the road salesman who is looking for an easier way to use Act and for some designed simplicity. Act allows me to sort through my 5,000 contacts and monitor opportunites with a list.
BUT I USE TO LIST TO CREATE A HARD COPY THAT IS EXPORTED TO EXCEL AND THEN IMPORTED INTO MAPPOINT SO THAT I CAN SEE WHEN I AM CLOSE TO AN OPPORTUNITY AND HAVE TIME I CAN POSSIBLY STOP IN. Literally keeping them on my radar
Act forbids address and phone fields from being added to to the opportunity list. Instead their is a very convoluted process of creating a group. This still does not allow the opportunity stage to be noted.
Seems to me this program does not have any input from sales professional who are on the road. Rather those who are behind a desk. How about adding a feature for those of us who are outdoors searching to get eagles to fly.
In conclusion a helpful feature would be to allow editing of address fields into the opportunity list to export to excel. It would make Act simpler and more powerful!!!
