I find the initial log-on process, if you already have a Swiftpage account, totally weird.
If you click the Sage Emarketing for ACT! icon, or Manage ACT Services from the Write menu (yes, that's the Write menu, not Tools menu), you get the Welcome to Sage Connected Services for ACT! page.
Here you are presented with two prominent graphics, Sage Emarketing - start your 60day trial and Sage business info Services. These look like should be links to "start your 60 day trial" etc, but in fact do nothing. Confused? You will be.
At the bottom of the page are two "real" options; "I need a conected services account" and "I have a Swiftpage account".
If you already have a Swiftpage account, your check the button and click submit to be taken to a log-on screen where you enter your Swiftpage account information. You click enter and are informed you are logging on to your swiftpage account.
At this point, the whole thing becomes even wierder.
You are returned to a "Welcome to Sage Connected Services for ACT! what service do you want to activate?" page.
(I thought that's what I'd just done)
Again, two big graphical options, Start 60 day Swiftpage trial and Sage Business Info Services Use Free version.
Both radio buttons are grayed out, as is the Activate Selected button.
At this point there is nowhere to go and no way out!
You can click the other three tabs which show what you are already signed up for but that's it.
There's no clue as to what you are expected to do next.
In fact what you have to do is close the window. (No. Really.)
When you next click the Sage ACT! Email marketing icon you should be logged straight into your Swiftpage account.
I think this process needs some radical re-design!
