I would like to make custom result types for the standard call, meeting, and to-do activities. I can only have custom results on custom activities, which are no longer part of the easy big buttons or even an option from the "New" drop-down button.

Ya that would be so much easier and helpfull.
Every fields should be editable on the spot.
And also being able to choose the sort order.
Does Schedule | Manage | Activity Types or New | Other Activity not do it?
