Create a decimal field for Companies ONLY and check "Allow blank" and "Primary field". Add it to your layout. Type a value. Save. Erase the value. Save. Go to another record and come back, the value was not erased.
If you do the same for Contacts, the value will be erased. Is it the expected behavior? I would like to be able to put back blank values in decimal fields in Companies.
