Couldnt agree more - AEM cannot claim to be world-class, enterprise-class or even useful-class until the facility is added to introduce any Act! field as a mail-merge field. This is a very basic requirement which is featured in all the major low-cost systems such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, iContact, Campaign Monitor etc etc... There is already an expectation level in the market that this facility will be present in AEM and it can be hugely dissapointing to clients when they discover it cannot be done. Thank you.

Yes please Swifties.

  • And why not go further and allow you to merge company fields for attached contacts.
  • Can we also have teh ability to put a campaign title in like we had with SP emarketing tool before.
  • Please add the number of peopel in the send next to the number of contacts in the call lists tab, so that we can see what proportion of the people who have opened the amil to the number sent.
  • Please can we have the marketing results tab in th econtact's record back as we had before, otherwise how do we analyse each contact's (or Compnay's) responses to all our campaigns.

I would like to have the ability to make templates from scrach in the new toot (now only the import of HTML files is possible). Import of Act Templates would also be a great advantage.

Customer would like to be able to move the link for "view email in browser" down to the bottom of the template. The reason for this is if their clients have their preview settings in outlook/email inbox set to 2 lines instead of 1, it comes up with the sender, the name of the email template, view email in browser and the website. They are worried this will affect their open rate as people may not trust a big line of a website. If you could move the view email in browser to a different part of the template (ie the bottom) then this wouldn't come up.
