Basically we are looking For at least the same functionality that we have for Swiftpage emarketing in the New Act! emarketing product. the ability to create surveys with custom questions and map the response back to specific fields in Act!, or have them mapped to a survey responses tab.
For a reference of Surveys and how they worked in Swiftpage emarketing please see the articles below.

Advanced versus Limited Surveys
Please!!!! I think this is one of the most requested functions from swiftpage customer who are comming over to AEM. Surveys can be used in so many ways to increase sales and productivity for our end users! This is a GREAT idea!!!
We still have a number of clients using the legacy Swiftpage eMail system just for the Survey Form functionality* and AEM for eMarleting. This is really awkward when we;re asking them to buy a subscription for AEM as well as a subscription for SPE so they can use the forms. It's a really ugly commercial approach.
Lead capture on Groups was a cute idea, but I'm afraid nowhere near flexible enough to accomodate most company's requirments for web-to-lead, so providing this functionality as a part of AEM is a great step forward and a key milestone in eventually replacing SPE altogether.
Just a vaguely associated comment on the usability of Swiftpage forms (illustrating how AEM forms could be more useful than you think):
*Dont be mistaken by thinking that the Swiftpage Survey Forms need to look like the basic structures that are provided within the Swiftpage form creator - we're using Swiftpage forms to pick up data from the back end of very professional and funky looking websites with all sorts of validation and an attractive look & feel - the magic is in the background code and integration capability of Swiftpage Forms, not the user interface as that's infinitely customisable.
exponenciel's Automatic Web Forms will create surveys with the pre-filled data. When you import the results (by a simple click from the Act! toolbar) you can create groups or activities, and from there you can set up smart tasks for drip marketing type follow up.
Northwoods Web Prospect and Sales Automation Manager will do all of this (except the auto-fill) as well.
So until Act! gets this functionality working, these AddOns offer the best solution.
