We are longstanding Act Pro 4 seat user and currently on version 11.0 13.0.401.0 . In the past you could highlight an opportunity, go to "Edit" from top menu, then "Copy" then "Paste" (or use short cuts) and you could create an exact duplicate of the opportunity for editing. This was an important feature for those that use opportunities a lot as it saved time repeating duplicate entries of data. We used to have sales funnel templates for primary products proposed that were stored in our own records. We would copy it and then reassign it to a new customer for new proposals that needed to be tracked. We also use Opportunities to track more than sales funnels. We track all marketing tasks like trade show attendance/exhibits, meeting sponsors and such with budget figures. We track all our support contracts for hardware and software. We track all internal maintenance and training programs. At the end of a year we could close the opportunity, copy it with all the pertinent information stored within it and start a new "Open" opportunity for the current year already filled out. The "Closed-Won" opportunity is then used for history purposes. This is all gone now and we have lost all this power! Now we have to keep extending opportunity FOREVER! No history.
