Act! is converging with AEM. CRM with truly functional embedded emarketing is an offering that is unique in the marketplace at this time. A turnkey solution for CRM/emarketing requires some sort of built in campaign tracking, dashboard or other reporting mechanism.
Since the AEM convergence with ACT is a core strategy (and brilliant I think) we need to invest in the areas that will support that story line.
We need campaign tracking, ROI calculations and campaign reporting and/or dashboards to be hardwired into the product. Our target prospect would really, really respond well this.
We could start with a basic campaign tab that summarized the last few blasts and the salient stats such as open rate, sent, suppressed etc. This might be a custom table that pulled the stats from wherever SP stores the eblast report data. Even just that would be big.
If you could somehow add the campaign data to a dashboard that would be just super. If you could show ROI data on a tab, report or dashboard it would be like winning the Act! lottery
Anything with campaign data - tab, dashboard or report would be a big step forward.
