I run a Lenovo Thinkpad T520 using Windows 7's extended desktop where I have configured it to run two monitors: the native screen on the laptop and the extended screen is the external monitor on my desk in the home office. I usually run ACT on the extended screen since it's bigger. However, when the laptop is taken on the road and, thus only one screen is useable, I have found that the Add/Remove... dialog box remains "hidden" and stranded on the extended screen, and there is no way to move it over without plugging back into the original external monitor (other extended monitors don't work, only the original). On a long road trip, this can be crippling because you essentially cannot assign Groups and Opportunities to Histories and Activities.
I've tried several workarounds. If the entire ACT window is left on the extended monitor when I go on the road, I know how to use Window 7's "Move" function to push it over to the laptop screen. The main window, as well as history and activity dialog boxes successfully make it over with this manouver. However, it's the Add/Remove... (Groups/Opportunities) dialog box which remains stranded and unusable because you can't see it. I know it activiates when I hit the Share-With button, but I can't actually see or use it when it's in this condition.
This appears a simple bug fix - would appreciate some attention on it. Thanks
