I completely agree!  Has anyone found a solution for this (add-on or otherwise) or heard that ACT is going to make this change? 


We house sales information in the company table that we need to trickle down to the contacts when they are set up in the database so that our sales reps know what they can offer the customers and what promotions they qualify to receive.  We have created a custom table that auto-populates this information once the sales rep chooses a company label, but we are essentially doing double duty by having to maintain multiple tables.  Not ideal...
