Just to understand ... Why not use Skype, or one of the hundreds of chat ptoducts available?

That is a fair question.

 

A user may be logged in to ACT but may not have Skype or any of the hundreds of chat products open.

 

This is a request for a small company and certainly not a larger company that actually has a data center staff.

Just for reference, Intuit Quickbooks has a chat feature for QBs logged in users. I would think he is references a feature like that. The feature only runs when user is logged into QBs.
