I'm sure, of course, the idea is out there (and I've seen some threads that implicitly toss the idea around); I'm sure Sage has also thought through the idea as well. So I'll just simply ask:
1) What is the current state, if you can share at all, of any moves towards releasing a version of act! that works with Linux servers?
2) I know one of the hurdles is the labor-intensive task of mixing oil with water (i.e., trying to port over something from .NET Framework to something else, BUT the database is proprietary, so I presume Sage has the theoretical means), but what, besides that, holds Sage back from going forward with Linux versions? Is it business contracts with Microsoft? Things you're simply not allowed to discuss openly? It's all good with me; I'm just curious.
