Act Companion - restrict user access to only their contacts

Having the ability to restrict Users ability to see just their contacts -  and not the complete database is very important for customers with sensitive contact data - medical, legal, banking, security companies, sales organisations etc. Could Act not create sych sets like with Remote databases? 

Currently there is no way to do this and several customers have asked for this facility if they are to roll out Act Companion.
