In all of the list views, like companies, contacts, opportunities etc. there should be an option to determine how the list is sorted by default.
For example, I need my opportunity list to be sorted on Create Date whenever I open ACT!, or my contacts list to be sorted on LastName.
It doesn't save my previous choices.
Just select and sort the columns you want to view using the Options|Customise Columns.
Then click once on the Create Date column header to sort ascending dates and click again for descending dates.
It is correct, but does it save your selection to apply the next time you start the application?
It should do. Why not try it!
Of course I tried it before opening this thread. It doesn't save your choices for next application run.
Opportunity list is always sorted ascending on total field, and company list is always sorted ascending on company field. I didn't find a default choice for contact list.
