ACTDiag command line switch to rebuild Analytics

Status: Available in Sage ACT! 2013

Could we have a command line switch for ACTDiag to rebuild the Analytics?

This would allow for a Windows Scheduled task to run nightly (or however frequently it's required) so that the Sales Manager can simply load up his now most favorite Excel Spreadshet and have the updated info appear in it.

Or maybe ... add it to the ACT! Scheduler options

But, better still ... get them to actually work reliably. See: http://lnkd.in/K58dU2

Yup, running that from the ACT! Scheduler would be nice, but simply having the command line switch will achieve what I'm after. Smiley Happy

For Analytics to be really useful they need to be accessible from and run from Reports. (I suggest, since that's effectively what they are; a different type of report). Wherever they are accessed, that's the place to have a Refresh Analytics button.

In fact, why would anyone want an Analytics report that misses new data? They wouldn't. So could we not have the system detect if new data has been added since Analytics was last refreshed, then automatically refresh it if required?

Good thought Jeff.

So this says available in Sage ACT 2013.  Where? I have tried to run a command line option for the refresh analysics and no workie.  Is it because Refresh Analytics is two words.  I see the command line options all are one word.  Tried with double quotes.  Really need to have this working.
