When you purchased your version of Act! v16, you were given 30 days of warranty support.  That support is designed to make sure the program is installed and is able to open and create databases.  It appears that you purchased the product and didn't install it for a few months before contacting us in November with a problem updating your software that we resolved.


The $40 30-day unlimited support that was offered to you is actually a discount of what used to be a $100 per-incident support request.  If you had multiple incidents, each one could have cost you seperately.  We did this to drastically cut down the price of what could be a simple issue, while giving you the value of unlimited calls during that 30-day period.
