I also have been using ACT! through all of its iterations since 1986. I've just upgraded to 2011 because the support team would no longer support my older version...planned obsolesence! All things aside, ACT! is the best of the contact management tools available on the market today, bar none, and I know, having had to live through corporate buys of Goldmine, SalesForce.com, etc.
My issue is this. ACT! Pro 2011 must be able to speak to a wireless printer. At present, if I request a printout of a "company directory", I get an error message that states "Invalid Handle". According to the Support Desk, this is due to ACT! using ".net" rather than whatever is being used in the Microsoft community of products (i.e. Word, Excel, etc). I'm sure that I'm not the only person with this difficulty and would appreciate a response as to whether or not this can be addressed.
