I'm still hoping that the ACT! programmers will change back the Email Histories format, so that the Details you add to a History item will appear on a new line, like they used to, instead of appearing immediately after the last character in the Subject line.  If I wanted to add text to the Subject line, I would put it in the subject line.  Instead, I have to put a carriage return in the first line of the Details section, so the details I add will start below the subject line in the History.  The format was elegant before this change took place in v20.1, but what we have now is just plain sloppy.

Our sales tam are now complaining about a related issue with our last update.


a) Email histories record fine with Subject on a separate line.

b) If you edit the history, and change something (say remove a word in the body) and save the change, the carriage return after the subject is removed, and it flows straight onto the body on the same line - looking messy.


Issue: Editing a history removed the return after the subject, even if you change a different part of the body.
