Understanding Public vs. Private Activities in ACT! by Sage 2010

If you share an ACT! database, other users can view the activities you have scheduled with Public Contacts. What if you don't want everybody knowing what you're up to? Simply mark the activity as private. Private activities display in your Task List and Calendar views as normal (except with the Private icon displayed to the side). Private activities will not display in other users’ Task List view. Download this week's Fast Tip to learn more about public vs. private activities.
