Not sure if this is the right area to post this, but I am having a heck of a time trying to find an answer to what I thought would be a relatively common problem.
Does anyone know if there is a project management suite or stand alone tool that can be used to automatically email a customer when a task is marked as complete in the project management suite.
For example, if I shipped a product to a customer and I go back to the office and mark the task as complete, then the customer will receive an email notifying them that the product has been shipped, etc.
I assume you would need a project management suite that would capture the customer's information and then some type of workflow (either built in or as an integration) to tie in the customer's name, email, etc.
Ideally, i'd also like a delayed email as well. I.e., if shipment marked as complete, then email right away and also email 2 weeks later requesting product review.
