I am new to using the e marketing after purchasing ACT! Pro 2014 and am trying to set up my first templates. I send a lot of appointment confirmation emails that contain appointment details that I am used to having to type out manually. Is there any way to get ACT to automatically include task details related to the contact? There is no merge tag for this but if there is a way around this it would help me out.

When creating the activity, there is a check box on the general tab to send invitation email. Have you used that??

I have used that before, but it is not a customizable email, and it seems like it can only be sent at the exact time you create the event. I was looking to use the feature to have it automatically send out a reminder email either the day before or a few hours before the appointment.
