Limit on pixel length of emails

Are there dimension constraints on the height of AEM emails? I know there is a width dimension of 580px, conceivably there might be a hard stop on the height.....

It looks as if the images are being stretched horizontally for some reason.
Make sure your image dimensions are defined correctly and in whole numbers.

You can use your browsers web inspector tool to check what the browser is rendering the dimensions as.

Re: Limit on pixel length of emails

There is no restriction on height/length of emails.
Things to consider though would be where your content is placed, and having too many images and slowing down load times.

Re: Limit on pixel length of emails

I'll keep that in mind. Currently struggling with a custom made email. All of it will render with the exception of one row of images. Something about the oodles of code being dropped into the file after I load it to Act. I've tried everything and have sadly missed a send-out deadline. Have you heard of most of an email rendering and then portion not rendering?

I haven't seen that before, but I haven't had much experience with custom HTML templates in Act Emarketing.
Does the image stretching also appear when you send the test email, and when viewed in a browser?

Re: Limit on pixel length of emails

It still distorts them in my email service and when I view it on a browser. It's frustrating, because I know it's the code that Act is dropping in. My html is clean and fine, and renders correctly in the most recent version of Dreamweaver.
