Has Anyone Been Fined For Can-Spam Violation?

My boss says that the FCC doesn't enforce Can-Spam and therefore we can continue breaking the law. Is anyone willing to help me prove to him that he's wrong?

I'm wondering if they do give fines and what you did that triggered or helped the FCC identify that you should be fined.

The CAN-SPAM Act is enforced primarily by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which can seek civil penalties of up to $16,000 per violation (with no maximum penalty)
